Start your day off sipping coffee or eating breakfast while watching a beautiful sunrise over the lake from the covered porch at Hemlock Hideaway, which is a newly remodeled house on Hemlock Lake in Reading, MI. Then take the 4 kayaks, paddle boat, and rowboat out on the lake, which are all included with your stay. Go back to the house to grab a bite to eat from the fully furnished kitchen or do some grilling with the propane grill (propane provided). Let your food settle while watching a movie or TV show on one of the 2 SMART TVs in the house. Take a walk or jog around the neighborhood that has very little traffic. After your walk, cool off by going for a swim since the water is shallow for a hundred feet in front of the house. End the night watching the sunset, enjoying smores, and telling stories around your fire ring.

Remodeled in 2024, this lakefront house has a full kitchen, dining area, large living room, 2 ½ bathrooms, utility area, 3 bedrooms (one with a queen-sized bed, one with 2 full-sized beds, and one with a bunk that has a twin on top and full-sized bed on the bottom as well as another full-sized bed), covered porch, and nice-sized yard. It sleeps 11 with a maximum occupancy of 13. It has central air/heat with a window air conditioner upstairs.

You are welcome to bring one motorized boat and tie it up to the owners’ dock, which is located next door. Please let us know if you plan on bringing a boat or jet ski.

To get you started with your stay, the house is provided with the following items:
