Great hosts!
Carol and Ray are superb hosts that are very accommodating. Their home is beautiful, and the area where we stay has lots of privacy. I will add that we always have great conversations with them and she makes a killer breakfast! Ray is always in charge of the coffee, which is also fabulous. If it were available, we would stay with them every time we spend the night in Hillsdale!
Superb accommodation!
An easy 10min drive from the College; there was a private spacious sitting room, bedroom and private bath. Ray and Carol were very accommodating and didn't mind my late return (CCA's go till 9pm and then hospitality afterwards). Breakfast was excellent (frittata and blueberry pancakes with proper bacon) with french press coffee and Carol even made oatmeal raisin cookies that lasted by my 3-day stay. There's no wifi but reception on my Verizon and Spectrum phones were good enough for work and video calls. Would definitely stay again on my next visit to Hillsdale.
Delightful stay!
Ray and Carol are lovely hosts and could not have made us feel more at home. Our accommodations were lovely, breakfast was amazing, and our hosts just delightful. Thank you Ray & Carol for a great stay in your beautiful home!
Awesome hosts!
Carol and Ray were fabulous hosts! Communication before our visit was excellent, and they rolled the red carpet out for us upon our arrival. They couldn't have been more gracious, and we enjoyed our stay immensely! To top it all off, we ended our stay with an awesome breakfast. We hope to stay with them again!!

Our two-night stay at 2780 Baw Beese Trail was a pleasure all-around. Our hosts, Ray & Carol, couldn’t have been more friendly or accommodating. Their home was beautiful, clean, peaceful & quiet. The breakfasts they served were amazing, complete with lovely table settings and delicious, healthy food. Making the reservation was straightforward and easy, and communication with our hosts was great throughout. We would definitely recommend this home for your stay in Hillsdale.

We stayed with Carol and Ray for Spring Parents Weekend and couldn't have asked for better accommodations! We were close to campus, had a wonderful wing of the house and enjoyed the hospitality! Top notch! I would highly recommend!
Great stay!
Carol and Ray are wonderful hosts. They made us feel welcome and truly like we were at home. And the breakfasts were delicious! Can't say enough good things. Would stay there again. And their house is very convenient to the college.

If I were selfish and did not want anyone else to have the opportunity to stay here, I would rate this one star! The homeowners are warm, gracious, and meticulous hosts and have the gift of hospitality. They have lived in the area for decades and are proud of the town of Hillsdale and of the College. They will make sure you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable, from clean towels, home-baked cookies, and a hearty breakfast. The house is newer construction and is a short drive from Hillsdale College in a subdivision adjacent to Baw Beese Lake. There are very peaceful views of the farm field across the street from the front porch. We hope to stay here again, but we will be in competition with the rest of you!
