Comfortable and Charming, A Little Cramped

Our stay was comfortable. The bed was fine and the room was nicely decorated. The hostess was gracious and nice. We live in a large home so we would have liked more space. The tub was ok, but we prefer a shower. Overall this room was ok and we would recommend it to others.

Lovely lodging option

I enjoyed my stay in this charming home. Ellen is a gracious hostess. The room is comfortable and the bathroom private, with a clawfoot tub (no shower curtain). The location is close to downtown with diners and coffee shops within walking distance. Just a 5-minute drive from the Hillsdale campus. This made it convenient to go back and forth during the day to attend seminars at different times. The steep staircase to the upstairs room may be difficult for some travelers. I was pleased with the comfort and convenience and would chose this lodging again.

Comfortable bed

Bed and pillows were comfortable. Hostess was very unobtrusive. Location was very convenient - walk to downtown, longer walk to college if weather's nice and you like long walks. Bathroom had only a clawfoot tub that looked nice but was hard to use if you just wanted a shower. (no shower curtain.) Stairs were steep. No coffee in the AM was offered.

Ellen was a delightful hostess. The place was very clean and conveniently close to Hilldale's campus.

Lovely home!

Gracious hostess, very clean home. Comfortable bed. In the past we always had to stay in Jackson or Coldwater, so we loved being just 5 minutes from campus.

My stay was so wonderful. The room was lovely and peaceful!! I felt so welcomed and at home. The claw foot tub was a special treat. I would highly recommend staying here and plan to return myself.
